Riyadh — Mubasher: Arabian Drilling announced that it has received notification to resume operations for all remaining offshore drilling rigs that were previously suspended.

The company, which is the largest drilling contractor in Saudi Arabia by fleet size, expects the offshore fleet utilization rate to reach 100% by the end of the third quarter (Q3) of 2026, meaning by the end of September.

The resumption of these units signals a continued recovery in activity within the offshore drilling sector, according to a bourse disclosure.

Arabian Drilling stated that achieving full fleet utilization represents a significant operational milestone, demonstrating the company’s readiness to execute and respond to market demand efficiently.

Established in 1964, the company has operated in the Kingdom for over 60 years, during which it provides onshore and offshore drilling services for major clients including Saudi Aramco and Baker Hughes.

Arabian Drilling further noted that its current sustainability roadmap is aligned with Saudi Vision 2030. The company is a joint venture between the Industrialization and Energy Services Company (TAQA) and SLB.
