Appointment of Chief Strategy Officer

Dhofar International Development & Investment Company SAOG (“the Company”) hereby announces the appointment of Mr. Shahid Hasan as Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), effective 5 October 2026.

Mr. Shahid is a senior finance, banking and investment professional with over 25 years of experience across the GCC and India. He has held senior leadership positions with leading financial institutions, investment companies and family offices across the GCC, with extensive experience in corporate strategy, investment management, financial planning and performance, capital planning, investor relations, governance, regulatory compliance and business transformation.

His professional experience also includes exposure to conventional, Islamic and digital banking, as well as investment portfolio management and strategic business initiatives.

Mr. Shahid is a Chartered Accountant, a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and a Certified Islamic Public Accountant (AAOIFI). He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Calcutta University, India.
