Riyadh — Mubasher: Alinma Hospitality REIT Fund’s board of directors approved a plan to repurchase up to 10.20 million units, according to a bourse filing.
The proposed buyback represents 10% of the fund's total issued units.
Meanwhile, the fund manager Alinma Capital Company stated that the primary objective of the transaction is to retain the repurchased units as treasury units, adding that these may be utilized for future exchange swaps against new asset acquisitions or resold at a later date.
The board noted that the current market price of the units is below their fair value (FV).
Financing for the buyback will be sourced from the fund’s existing credit facilities or surplus cash flows, provided that such funding does not impact scheduled distributions to unitholders.
The execution of the plan requires a special resolution and approval from unitholders.
Once approved, the fund manager will be authorized to complete the repurchases within a maximum period of 12 months.
The units will be acquired through the market rather than via private transactions and will carry no voting rights while held in treasury.
Alinma Hospitality REIT Fund recently reported its income statements for the period ended on 30 September 2026 and announced a dividend distribution of SAR 32.64 million.
